REAL festival clothes?

So, this post is a working progress, and this is really more of an introduction to it.
I read in magazines all the time, the articles about "what we're wearing at festivals", and then I look at the pictures and see a cute floral dress and wedges. I'm off to Bestival on thursday (!!!) and am currently trying to sort out what to take, because, from experience, it gets COLD in the evenings and wedges just won't make the cut in the mud!
So, tomorrow I shall be pottering around the shops (charity and non charity, I need a selection) to see if I can come up with a photographable outfit to show you. (Don't know if thats even a word, oh well, it is now!)
Watch this space, and I will see what I can find tomorrow!

How do you say it again?

I've been told a few times that my writing is sometimes hard to understand in terms of purpose or meaning, to anyone who isn't, well, me. So, I am planning on changing the theme of my blog to photos of what I'm thinking or which clothes or trends I'm interested in. A photo speaks a thousand words, huge cliché I am aware, but in my case, it is quite true.

Might take a few weeks to get some photos taken and up, so have a look when they're up, if anyone is reading this.

Best accessory?

Not to sound like I have just been brainwashed by a Toni & Guy advertisement, but, I think there is some truth in your hair being (at least one of) your best accessory. This is because if you walk past someone, assuming you aren't looking at the floor, the first thing you see is their head, and therefore their hair. I dont know whether its just me, but if someone has good hair, then Im more likely to look at what they're wearing. But that might just be me, anyway, my main point is that I'm currently debating on how to change my hair, as its boring, and starting college seems an appropriate a time as ever to experiment. But, apart from shape and colour, how can you make it more interesting? Any ideas will be useful because Im all out! Does anyone have a hairstyling blog that would answer my question, and, if so, please link me :).

Sorry about the long time no post, I had exams, and then I..got lazy :/

Basically I kinda want to know how to get decent looking hair without employing a proffessional stylist.
(Sounds a bit cliché but I couldn't find another way to put it.)

Spirit Jewellery

Spirit Jewellery is one of my favourite jewellery brands, mainly because it has rare and unusual pieces, but also because its made in the UK, and original good quality jewellery made here is actually not that easy to find. Some of the pieces were featured at London Fashion Week, in Vogue, and also worn by Celebrities such as Kate Moss and Debbie Harry.
In short, It's a brilliant jewellery brand, with exquisite and unusual pieces that are only made in small quantities. My favourite is the Folding Fan necklace, vintage inspired design and wearable with practically anything!

Check out the website for prices and more designs, I couldn't fit them all in my post!

Hope you like it :)

Nude. In every form. (Well, almost)

So, all things nude are 'In', not that fashion trends are things I follow religiously, I only picked up on this because of the clothes that are actually currently being sold at places like ASOS. They are mixing classic with edgy, but keeping it simple at the same time with nude colours and tones. I particularly like nude colours in summer, and now is a good time to start looking for the perfect bits for my wardrobe.
The 'In' trends actually irritate me, because there are always a few sad individuals that read about them, and then go out and buy every item of clothing within that particular trend, therefore ending up looking completely ridiculous.
But, back to the point, these are a few pieces that I particularly liked, although not to be worn at the same time!

I want it. Enough Said.

Brics. Best luggage range by far. But expensive.
A suitcase/ luggage set should be subtle in style, not hard flourescent plastic with flowers on, not plain black with a million and one compartments. Obviously Louis Vuitton is a desirable range in itself, but Brics are my new favourite, as they are aesthetically pleasing, without any logo or brand printed all over, as much as a LV Trunk appeals (Its second on my wishlist.)

(Just because it's Vintage. And I want it.)

New year, new wardrobe? I think so.

Back again, sorry for the lack of posts, revision etc has taken its toll, ending in sleep deprevation and excessive facebooking.
Anway, back to the norm, hope everyone had a good christmas/new year.
I dont know about you, but I went to the sales this year, and they were a disaster. Too many people in not enough space. Although, admitted, I suffered in topshop for a new pair of wedge boots!
Below are a couple of new season items that have appeared on the online stores, and I'm keeping an eye on them as something to buy as soon as the sale craze dies down!
